THE STORY OF OUR POPS
Yoga pops made from lotus seeds, also called fox nuts, are widely used in traditional Ayurvedic cuisine which promotes food as medicine. These seeds grow in the waters of wetlands and lily ponds of India where they are hand picked, sifted and sieved by small communities of local farmers.
Gluten free and light, they make for a great alternative to popcorn. These healthy, crunchy snacks are considered highly nutritious and are a good source of protein, magnesium, potassium and phosphorus.
Hand roasted, spiced and packaged in small batches in Georgia/Minnesota, each one ounce serving consists of approximately 50 crunchy pops and is less than 80 calories.
At Route to India, our goal is to create products inspired by Ayurveda that are nutritionally beneficial, socially conscious and environmentally sustainable. A part of our profits go towards the education of children in rural India.
